njwight: I love this photo. Maybe because it was such a hoot trying to get it! Gloria, the founder of the Fauna sanctuary, took me along on a walk with a big bowl of apples. She was handing them out and tossing them to the chimps and I was trying to snap shots. Those guys like their apples, and, they like three at a time. They pop one in their mouth and then reach for another for each hand. Kind of like me with chocolates… Fauna posted more apple images over on faunachimps.tumblr so check them out!
